Text
Except as allowed by specific exception in section 2382, a vehicle may not be operated on a public way if the weight exceeds:
1.Maximum.
A gross vehicle weight of 100,000 pounds;
2.Registered weight.
Registered weight with a tolerance of 500 pounds or 2 1/2% over the registered weight, whichever is greater;
3.Configuration weight.
The weight limits on axle configurations; or
4.Axle.
The axle weight limit as provided in this subchapter.
