Except as provided in subsection 1, a person may not enter or remain in any limited access area unless the person displays an individual identification card issued by the office pursuant to section 106.

1.Contractors. A licensee may allow a person to enter or remain in any limited access area without displaying an individual identification card if the person is a contractor of the licensee, including, but not limited to, an electrician, a plumber, an engineer or an alarm technician, whose scope of work will not involve the handling of cannabis or cannabis products and the person signs a visitor entry log provided and maintained by the licensee and is issued a visitor identification badge by the licensee. 1-A.
