Text
1.Seven-day grace period upon license or certificate of approval expiration.
Except as provided in subsection 3, a licensee that unintentionally fails to renew a license or certificate of approval upon its expiration date and continues to make sales of liquor is not chargeable with illegal sales under section 2078 for a period of 7 days following the expiration date.
2.Bureau must notify licensee of expiration.
The bureau shall notify the licensee by the most expedient means available that the license or certificate of approval has expired and all sales of liquor must be suspended immediately and remain suspended until the license or certificate of approval is properly renewed.
