§ 24-A §2385-A — Medical expense deductibles

Maine·Title 24-A MAINE INSURANCE CODE·Ch. 25 RATES AND RATING ORGANIZATIONS

Each insurer transacting or offering to transact workers' compensation insurance in the State shall offer deductibles for medical expenses as follows.

1.Optional deductible of $250. To employers who are not experience-rated, insurers shall offer a deductible of $250 per occurrence.
2.Optional deductible of $250 or $500. To employers who are experience-rated, insurers shall offer a deductible of $250 or $500 per occurrence.
3.Mandatory deductible of $500.
