Text
1.Rules.
The Department of Public Safety and the Department of Health and Human Services shall each adopt rules necessary to achieve the purposes of this chapter. As appropriate, each department shall keep the other department informed regarding rule-making activity. Rules adopted pursuant to this subsection are routine technical rules as defined in Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2‑A.
2.Contract for services.
In accordance with state laws and rules governing contracting for services, the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Health and Human Services may contract with federal and state agencies and nongovernmental entities as necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter.
