§ 22 §7273 — Severability and construction - Article 13
Maine·Title 22 HEALTH AND WELFARE·Part 3 DRUG ABUSE·Ch. 1604 INTERSTATE PRESCRIPTION MONITORING PROGRAM COMPACT
1.Severable.
The provisions of this compact are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence or provision is determined unenforceable, the remaining provisions of the compact are enforceable.
2.Liberally construed.
The provisions of this compact must be liberally construed to effectuate its purposes.
3.Concurrent applicability.
Nothing in this compact may be construed to prohibit the applicability of other interstate compacts to which the states are members.
