§ 22 §7264 — Technology and security - Article 4
Maine·Title 22 HEALTH AND WELFARE·Part 3 DRUG ABUSE·Ch. 1604 INTERSTATE PRESCRIPTION MONITORING PROGRAM COMPACT
1.Security requirements.
The commission shall establish security requirements through rules for the transmission of prescription data.
2.Open standards for technology infrastructure.
The commission shall foster the adoption of open standards for the technology infrastructure that are vendor-neutral and technology-neutral.
3.Acquisition and operation of technology infrastructure.
The commission is responsible for acquisition and operation of the technology infrastructure.
