§ 20-A §8451 — Career and technical education regions

Maine·Title 20-A EDUCATION·Part 4 SPECIFIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS·Ch. 313 CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION

1.Legislative intent. It is the intent of the Legislature that each career and technical education region shall provide career and technical education in accordance with this chapter and shall function as an extension of the secondary schools and middle schools located within the region's boundaries.

2.Boundaries. The career and technical education regions have boundaries as follows.

3.Central Aroostook County. Central Aroostook County is also a region.

4.Validation. Each career and technical education region authorized and organized under Public Law 1973, chapter 605, is hereby validated, confirmed, approved and declared legal in all respects, notwithstanding any defect or irregularity which may have occurred in the organization of the region or in the selection of the cooperative boa
