§ 20-A §4515 — Accreditation; evaluation and recommendation

Maine·Title 20-A EDUCATION·Part 3 ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION·Ch. 206 ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS
The commissioner shall confer accreditation to those schools which meet established accreditation standards in accordance with the procedures established by rule. A school may not be accredited until it has been evaluated and recommended for accreditation by an advisory committee of qualified personnel, including persons from outside the department.
