Text
As used in this chapter, unless the context indicates otherwise, the following terms have the following meanings.
1.Unorganized territory.
"Unorganized territory" means territory not part of a municipality.
2.Unorganized unit.
"Unorganized unit" means an unorganized township, gore, strip, tract, surplus, point, patent, peninsula, island, deorganized town or plantation or any other distinct portion of the unorganized territory.
