1.Definition of vacancy.
A vacancy on a regional school unit board occurs:
2.Regional school unit board.
The regional school unit board shall notify the municipal officers of the municipalities within the regional school unit of a vacancy before the annual town meeting or before the regular municipal election.
3.Filling vacancies.
A vacancy on a regional school unit board must be filled according to this subsection.
