§ 20-A §12101 — Definitions

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.
1.Authority.
"Authority" means the Finance Authority of Maine.
2.Chief executive officer.
"Chief executive officer" means the Chief Executive Officer of the Finance Authority of Maine.
3.Clinical education.
"Clinical education" means any on-location teaching environment ranging from a one-to-one training between a physician and a medical student to a training in a health clinic or hospital with or without a residency program.
4.Health professional shortage area.
"Health professional shortage area" means an area in the State lacking in medical professionals as designated by the Commissioner of Health and Human Services.
5.Insufficient veterinary services.
