§ 19-A §3501 — Definitions
Maine·Title 19-A DOMESTIC RELATIONS·Part 3 PARENTS AND CHILDREN·Ch. 69 UNIFORM CIVIL LIABILITY FOR SUPPORT ACT
As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.
1.Child.
"Child" means a son or daughter under 21 years of age or a son or daughter who is incapable of earning a living and without sufficient means.
2.Parent.
"Parent" includes either a biological parent or an adoptive parent.
