§ 19-A §1853 — Consequences of establishment of parentage
1.All purposes.
Unless parental rights are terminated, parentage established under this chapter applies for all purposes, except as otherwise specifically provided by other law of this State.
2.Preservation of parent-child relationship.
Consistent with the establishment of parentage under this chapter, a court may determine that a child has more than 2 parents.
