Text

As used in this code, unless a different meaning is plainly required, the following words and variants thereof have the following meanings.

1."Act" or "action" means a voluntary bodily movement.
2."Acted" includes, where appropriate, possessed or omitted to act.
3."Actor" includes, where appropriate, a person who possesses something or who omits to act. 3-A. 3-B. "Another jurisdiction" means the Federal Government, the United States military, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the United States Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, federally recognized Indian tribes and each of the several states except Maine. 3-C.
