Text
1.Inspection of violations.
The board may, upon complaint or probable cause, inspect the manufactured housing, manufacturing facilities, a licensee's business facilities or such records as may be necessary to verify whether a violation has occurred. If the board finds that a violation has occurred, it shall proceed pursuant to section 9009.
2.Petition to initiate legal action.
The board may petition the Attorney General to initiate legal action in any court of competent jurisdiction for monetary or injunctive relief to enforce this chapter.
3.Penalties.
Any person found guilty of violation of this chapter may be required to pay a civil penalty of not more than $1,000 for each such violation, but not more than $5,000 for an action consisting of separate violations.
