(a)(1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated.
(2)“Law enforcement agency” has the meaning stated in § 3–201 of this title.
(3)“Police officer” has the meaning stated in § 3–201 of this title.
(b)(1) On or before March 1, 2022, and each March 1 thereafter, each local law enforcement agency shall report to the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy information, for the previous calendar year, on each use of force incident involving a police officer employed by the law enforcement agency that resulted in a monetary settlement or judgment against the law enforcement agency.
(2)The information reported shall include:
(i)the age, gender, ethnicity, and race of each individual involved i
