Text
(a)A person may obtain a historical watercraft identification plaque from the Department for a boat that is:
(1)25 years old or older; and
(2)Powered by the boat’s original type of power plant.
(b)The fee for a historical watercraft identification plaque is $25. The identification plaque shall be valid for the life of the boat.
(c)The Department shall issue a historical watercraft identification plaque, of the Department’s own design, to a person who applies to the Department on a form the Department supplies. When prominently displayed on the boat, a historical watercraft identification plaque shall entitle the boat owner to apply to participate in parades, shows, and special displays.
