§ 9-404
(a)This section applies only to code counties and commission counties.
(b)The county commissioners may sue and be sued.
(c)The county commissioners may not pay a claim against the county unless:
(1)the claim is payable by the county; and
(2)the claimant produces legal proof of the claim.
