§ 7-717

Maryland·Article ghg Health - General·Title 7
(a)(1) In this part, “low intensity support services” means a program designed to:
(i)Enable a family to provide for the needs of a child or an adult who is living in the home and has a severe chronic disability that: 1. Is attributable to a physical or mental impairment, other than the sole diagnosis of mental illness, or to a combination of physical and mental impairments; and 2. Is likely to continue indefinitely; or
(ii)Support an adult who is living in the community and has a severe chronic disability that: 1. Is attributable to a physical or mental impairment, other than the sole diagnosis of mental illness, or to a combination of physical and mental impairments; and
