§ 4-216

The administrative head of an institution shall record and report each birth, death, and fetal death and all statistical information required by this subtitle, about the incarcerated individuals or patients of the institution. The information shall be obtained from the best possible source and presented to the individual responsible for execution of a certificate under this subtitle.
