§ 19-14C-01
(a)In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
(b)“Deficiency” has the meaning stated in § 19–1401 of this title.
(c)“Monitoring agency” means:
(1)The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services;
(2)The Office of Health Care Quality within the Department;
(3)The Maryland Department of Labor;
(4)A local health department;
(5)The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; or
(6)The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
(d)“Nursing home” has the meaning stated in § 19–1401 of this title.
