(a)This section applies only in Prince George’s County.
(b)(1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated.
(2)“Family child care provider” has the meaning stated in § 9.5–301 of this article.
(3)“Program” means the Prince George’s County Family Child Care Home Expansion Grant Program.
(c)(1) There is a Prince George’s County Family Child Care Home Expansion Grant Program.
(2)The purpose of the Program is to increase the number of registered family child care providers, registered family child care homes, and registered large family child care homes in low–income communities in Prince George’s County.
(3)The Prince George’s County public school system shall administer the Program.
