Text
(a)(1) This subsection does not apply to a certified public accountant who is on emeritus status under § 2–313.1 of this subtitle.
(2)Unless a license is renewed for a 2–year term as provided in this section, the license expires on the first December 31 that comes:
(i)after the effective date of the license; and
(ii)in an even–numbered year.
(b)(1) At least 1 month before a license expires, the Board shall mail or electronically transmit to the licensee:
(i)a renewal application form; and
(ii)a notice that states:
1. the date on which the current license expires; and
2. the amount of the license fee.
