Section 305E. No person shall transport or cause to be transported into the commonwealth any bakery product for the purpose of sale without having obtained a permit from the department of public health. Such permit shall apply to one place of business only. Each permit granted under this section shall expire one year from the date of its issue. The fee for each such permit and for each annual renewal thereof shall be determined annually by the commissioner of administration under the provisions of section three B of chapter seven.Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five nor more than two hundred dollars. This section shall not apply to common carriers, their agents or servants.
