Text

Section 8L. The registry of motor vehicles shall act as a ''registration agency'' as defined in section one of chapter fifty and shall perform all duties established under state and federal law therefor. Application forms and procedures used by the registry shall comply with the provisions of 42 USC 1973 gg–3 and 1973 gg–5 of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993, as may be amended from time to time.
