Text

Section 6C. Any person who takes possession of a motor vehicle by foreclosure or subrogation of title shall return the number plates issued for such vehicle to the person in whose name such plates had been issued as owner by the end of the second day following the day on which such possession was taken. Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of not less than ten nor more than one hundred dollars.
