Text

Section 29. Notwithstanding any provision in any special act to the contrary, any lien for sewer, drain or sidewalk assessments or for betterment assessments of any other nature created pursuant to the provisions of any special act shall continue in effect until the land subject to the lien has been alienated and the instrument alienating the same has been recorded and for such longer period as any special act may provide.
