Section 5. Cleaners employed by the commonwealth shall each receive such salary as may be fixed under and in accordance with sections forty-five to fifty, inclusive, of chapter thirty, payable weekly. Their work shall not, without proportionate payment for overtime, exceed thirty-three hours weekly and they shall be entitled to the same rights and privileges in respect to sick leave, holidays and vacations as other state employees.
