§ 31 — Status of existing librarians; certificates

Section 31. Any person who, upon the effective date of this act, is employed in a position defined as that of professional librarian or subprofessional librarian in section twenty-four, shall be granted a certificate as a professional or subprofessional librarian, if he makes application within two years after such effective date.
