Section 10. Teachers and administrators assigned to a language acquisition program shall be properly qualified under state law for the program type. The department shall establish endorsements for educators who have completed coursework and field-based experience to provide instruction within sheltered English immersion programs, 2–way immersion programs, transitional bilingual programs and other programs that meet the requirements of this chapter.Annually, not later than June 1, the department shall provide each district with a list of all educators who have current endorsements pursuant to this section.
