§ 12 — Purchase of rights in fence

Section 12. If one person ceases to improve his land or lays open his enclosure, he shall not take away any part of the partition fence belonging to him and adjoining the next enclosure if the occupant or owner pays the reasonable value thereof, as determined in writing by the fence viewers.
