Section 46G. Notwithstanding the provisions of section thirty B of chapter one hundred and forty-nine, no person who is the incumbent of a position allocated to job group M-IX through M-XII, inclusive, shall receive overtime compensation, and no person who is the incumbent of a position allocated to job group M-V through M-VIII, inclusive, shall receive such overtime compensation unless the title and position number of the position of which he is the incumbent appears on a list of positions eligible for overtime compensation maintained by the personnel administrator, with the approval of the commissioner of administration.
