§ 21 — Delinquency of officers as to money payments; notification of district attorney

Section 21. If a public officer, or other person, required by law to account with and pay money to a county treasurer, fails so to do for ten days after the time prescribed by law therefor, the treasurer shall notify the district attorney, who shall forthwith proceed to recover the sum due.
