§ 44 — Unit called into service; duties of commander

Massachusetts·Part I ADMINISTRATION OF THE GOVERNMENT·Title V MILITIA
Section 44. The officer to whom the order of the commander-in-chief is directed shall forthwith order the troops therein called for to appear at the time and place appointed, and shall immediately notify the commander-in-chief of his order, in the most expeditious manner, through the usual military channels.
