§ 52 — Veterans of Indian wars in municipal service

Section 52. A veteran of the Indian wars who has been in the service of any city or town for ten years, if incapacitated for active duty, may be retired from active service by the city council or the selectmen at one half the rate of the average compensation paid to him during the two years immediately preceding his retirement.
