§ 8 — Effect on jurisdiction of county grand jury or district attorney

46.See 2015, 10, Sec. 71 as amended by 2020, 146.] Section 8. Nothing in this chapter shall limit the jurisdiction of county grand juries or district attorneys. Except as otherwise provided by law, an investigation by a statewide grand jury shall not preempt an investigation by any other grand jury or agency having jurisdiction over the same subject matter.
