§ 77 — Service of notice and copy of petition; return day

Massachusetts·Part IV CRIMES, PUNISHMENTS AND PROCEEDINGS IN CRIMINAL CASES·Title II PROCEEDINGS IN CRIMINAL CASES·Ch. 276 SEARCH WARRANTS, REWARDS, FUGITIVES FROM JUSTICE, ARREST, EXAMINATION, COMMITMENT AND BAIL. PROBATION OFFICERS AND BOARD OF PROBATION
Section 77. Notice of the petition and a copy thereof shall be given to or served upon the district attorney for the county where the petition is pending fourteen days at least before the return day expressed therein, and such notice shall be returnable on the first Monday of the first or second month after the filing of the petition.
