§ 53 — Transporting male and female prisoners

Section 53. An officer who, having the custody or control of prisoners, causes or permits male and female prisoners to be transported together to or from a court in a vehicle, in a city of more than thirty thousand inhabitants according to the latest census, shall be punished by a fine of not more than twenty dollars.
