Section 42. The fees of commissioners appointed under section four of chapter two hundred and twenty-two shall be as follows:For administering oaths and certifying the same under their official seals, one dollar for each; for taking acknowledgments of deeds and other instruments and certifying the same under their official seals, one dollar for each; for each written page contained in any deposition or affidavit taken by them, fifty cents; for administering the oath or affirmation to each deponent, one dollar; for authenticating, sealing up and directing each deposition, one dollar; for services not hereinbefore specified, the same fees as are allowed to justices of the peace in this commonwealth for like services; but the court to which a deposition is returnable shall order further allow
