§ 43 — Cultural facilities fund advisory committee; members; review of applications for grant and loans

Section 43. There shall be a cultural facilities fund advisory committee, the function of which shall be strictly advisory to the agency in connection with the management and operation of the Massachusetts Cultural Facilities Fund. The committee shall consist of the following members: the director of the Massachusetts cultural council or his designee; the director of the office of travel and tourism or his designee; the director of the agency or his designee; and 6 members to be appointed by the governor, 1 of whom shall have expertise in fundraising, 1 of whom shall have expertise in finance and 1 of whom shall have expertise in construction. In appointing members, the governor shall ensure that each of the following geographic regions of the commonwealth is represented: the central area,
