§ 44 — Endorsement when plaintiff removes from commonwealth

Section 44. If, after the commencement of a proceeding mentioned in section forty-two, the plaintiff removes from the commonwealth, the court, upon motion of any other party, shall, and of its own motion may, require the plaintiff to procure a responsible endorser.
