Section 17. The wife of a man under guardianship or conservatorship may join with his guardian or conservator, and the guardian or conservator of a woman may join with her husband, in making partition of her real estate which is held in joint tenancy or in common, and they may make any release or other conveyance necessary or proper therefor, as the parties might do if neither of them were under legal disability.
