§ 12 — License to guardian of spendthrift; notice
Massachusetts·Part II REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY AND DOMESTIC RELATIONS·Title II DESCENT AND DISTRIBUTION, WILLS, ESTATES OF DECEASED PERSONS AND ABSENTEES, GUARDIANSHIP, CONSERVATORSHIP AND TRUSTS·Ch. 202 SALES, MORTGAGES AND LEASES OF REAL ESTATE BY EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, GUARDIANS AND CONSERVATORS
Section 12. No license to sell real estate shall be granted to the guardian of a spendthrift who resides in the commonwealth unless seven days notice of the petition therefor has been given to the department of transitional assistance. Such notice may be served upon any member of said board or department.
