No person trained and designated by the department of elder affairs as a counselor or coordinator in the serving health information needs of elders program, whether acting on a compensated or volunteer basis shall be liable in any civil or criminal action by reason of the good faith performance of his official duties. The department shall make publicly available a description of the function and the responsibilities of such counselor.Chapter 19A: Section 38.
