Section 2.

(a)No health plan shall:
(i)exclude any eligible insured on the basis of age, occupation, actual or expected health condition, claims experience, duration of coverage or medical condition of such person; and(ii) exclude late enrollees from coverage for more than 12 months from the date of the application for coverage of any late enrollee.
(b)In any circumstance in which more extensive coverage than that provided by clauses (i) and (ii) of subsection (a) is required by any other state or federal law, the health benefit plan shall satisfy such other provision insofar as it requires more extensive coverage.
