Section 8. Any such bank may subscribe for and acquire stock issued by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston for the purpose of qualifying for membership in the federal reserve system, and while a member of such system may have and exercise any and all of the corporate powers and privileges which may be exercised by federal reserve member banks.
