§ 7A — Application of sections 6 and 7 to child care on military installations

[ Text of section added by 2024, 178, Sec. 15 effective August 8, 2024.]Section 7A. For the purposes of this section, "military installation'' shall mean a base, camp, post, station, yard, center or other activity under the jurisdiction of the secretary of a United States military department or, in the case of an activity in a foreign country, under the operational control of the secretary of a United States military department or the United States Secretary of Defense, regardless of the duration of operational control.Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, sections 6 and 7 shall not apply to a childcare provider on a military installation or a facility licensed or certified as a family child care provider by a branch of the United States Department
