Section 6D1/2. No employee shall be penalized by an employer as a result of such employee's filing of an application to the Health Safety Net Trust Fund or otherwise providing notice to the executive office of health and human services or to a health care provider in regard to the need for health care services for that employee that results in the employer being required to reimburse the fund in whole or in part.
