Section 155. If a prisoner who has been pardoned upon conditions to be observed and performed by him violates such conditions, the parole board shall forthwith cause him to be arrested and detained, and the warden, superintendent or keeper, respectively, of the institution in which the prisoner was confined shall receive said prisoner and cause him to be detained until the case can be examined by the governor and council; and the officer who makes the arrest shall forthwith give written notice thereof to the governor and council.
